Description
Our infant formula with iron is specially designed for infants and toddlers with urea cycle disorders, gyrate atrophy of the choroid and retina, or HHH syndrome. It is lactose-free, gluten-free, and halal, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary needs. This formula is free from nonessential amino acids to reduce the intake of excess nitrogen, while also containing L-carnitine and taurine to match levels typically found in human milk and animal-based foods. With approximately 43% of energy from fat, it maintains appropriate osmolality and provides 6.9% of energy as linoleic acid. Supplemented with extra vitamins and minerals, it ensures sufficient intake of all essential nutrients when administered following our nutrition support protocols.

This product is not intended to be the sole source of nutrition. It must be supplemented with protein and fluid in prescribed amounts to fully meet protein and water requirements. Do not boil the mixture or use terminal sterilization methods. Never warm the formula in a microwave oven, as serious burns can occur. This product is not suitable for intravenous use.
