Description
OA 1 is an iron-fortified infant formula and medical food powder designed for infants and young children diagnosed with propionic and methylmalonic acidemias (organic acidemias). It lacks the essential amino acids isoleucine, methionine, threonine, and valine, while containing other essential amino acids, nonessential amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. It must be utilized under direct and ongoing medical supervision.
